Nathy Peluso moves through genres like someone switching masks - hip-hop bleeds into soul, soul into Latin swing, all held together by a stage presence so outsized it reads as performance art.

About this person

Born in Argentina in 1995, Peluso grew up in Alicante, Spain, singing covers at bars in Torrevieja before she was out of her teens. She studied at King Juan Carlos University, then moved to Barcelona and released two independent EPs, Esmeralda and La Sandunguera, building slow recognition in Spain's music scene. After signing to Sony Music Spain, she released Calambre in 2020 - the album won a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and marked the turn. "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 36" with Bizarrap caught fire across Latin America that same year, and collaborations followed with Christina Aguilera, Karol G, and C. Tangana; her duet with Tangana, "Ateo," hit number one in Spain. Her second album, Grasa, arrived in 2024, by which point she'd collected five Latin Grammys and six Premios Gardel. The theatrical streak that started in those teenage bars never left - it became the signature.
