He has been a member of the Australia men's national field hockey team. As a member of the team, he won a gold medal at the 2010 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy and the 2010 Commonwealth Games. He was also a member of the team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom.
