Naomi Seibt was born on 18 August 2000 in Germany and aligned herself with far-right politics. In late 2019, the Heartland Institute, an American think tank focused on climate change denial, hired her and began marketing her as a counterweight to Greta Thunberg. The media labeled her the "anti-Greta." The arrangement lasted until April 2020. She has since spoken at events organized by conservative think tanks and describes her politics as libertarian and anarcho-capitalist.
