Indian actress (1939–2014)
Nandini Karnataki, known mononymously as Nanda, was an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi and Marathi films. Starting out as a child actor, and later doing supporting roles, Nanda established herself as one of the highest-paid actresses of the 1960s and early 1970s. In a career spanning more than 30 years, she portrayed a range of characters and is the recipient of a Filmfare Award.
