Jewish spy
Na'aman Belkind was a member of Nili, a ring of Jewish spies working for the British in World War I. Belkind was caught by the Ottmans in September 1917 and was sentenced to death. He was hanged in Damascus with Yosef Lishansky. Their execution marked the fall of the Nili movement.
