Born 7 March 1980, Boz released "Aşkı Bulamam Ben" in 2006 and followed with Maximum (2007), an album that moved serious units and swept awards. Three more records followed - Şans (2009), Aşklarım Büyük Benden (2011), Janti (2016) - each spinning off charting singles: "Maximum", "Uçurum", "Para Yok", "Özledim", "Sallana Sallana" all cracked the Türkçe Top 20 top five, while "Geri Dönüş Olsa", "Kalamam Arkadaş" and "Janti" each hit number one. In 2014 he stepped in front of cameras for Hadi İnşallah, then anchored three more films over the next five years. A violinist, drummer and ney player, he became a fixture in Turkish advertising and took a judge's seat on O Ses Türkiye, steering the winning act in season one. Four Golden Butterfly Awards and two Kral Music trophies later, he sits at the center of Turkish pop's commercial engine.
