Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abi Quhafa al-Taymi was an Arab commander and a prominent partisan of the fourth Rashidun caliph, Ali ibn Abi Talib. He was the youngest son of the first caliph, Abu Bakr, and Asma bint Umays. Following his father's death, he was raised in the household of Ali, becoming one of his most loyal supporters.
