Muhammad al-Maghut, also written Mohammad Al-Maghout, was a Syrian poet, writer for the theatre and movies, columnist and satirist. His works in Arabic include six books of poetry, prose, plays and film scripts. His poems have been translated into various languages, including English, French, Spanish and German.
