Mounira Solh

Mounira Solh was a pioneer advocate of women's and disabled people's rights in Lebanon. She was one of the earliest female candidates to run for parliament in Lebanon and the Middle East. She ran for a seat in the Parliament of Lebanon in 1960, 1964 and 1968. She was also a humanitarian with several decades of volunteer and charity work.
