Moshe David Gaon was a Bosnian-born Israeli historian, scholar of the Sephardic world, bibliographer, educator, journalist and poet. He was one of the pioneers of Ladino culture in Israel, and the father of businessmen Benny Gaon and Yehoram Gaon.
