Mirza Azim Sami was a historian and poet in the Emirate of Bukhara. He is the author of several works in Persian, including the Tuhfat-i shahi (1899-1901) and Tarikh-i Salatin-i Manghitiya (1906/07), which are considered the "official" and "unofficial" versions of the history of Bukhara, respectively.
