Michael Pettaway Tomlin is an American former professional football coach. He is known for having served as the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) from 2007 to 2025.

He is known for having served as the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) from 2007 to 2025. During his 19 seasons as head coach, Tomlin never finished with a losing record, the longest streak in NFL history. At the time of his resignation, Tomlin was the longest-tenured head coach in the four major North American sports leagues.
