Max Heinrich Sachsenheimer was a German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 17th Infantry Division. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords of Nazi Germany. On the 5th or 6th of February, 1945, as part of the Vistula-Oder offensive in Dyhernfurth, he had made it possible for a commando operation to evacuate and destroy a special factory, which was probably a Tabun production plant for the Anorgana company.
