About this person

Born 14 April 1999, Mattéo Elias Kenzo Guendouzi Olié started his senior career at Lorient before Arsenal signed him in 2018. The move to north London didn't stick: loan spells at Hertha BSC and Marseille followed, and Marseille made the arrangement permanent in 2022. Two years later he was on the move again, this time to Lazio, then in 2024 to Fenerbahçe in Turkey's top flight. For France, he broke into the senior squad in 2021 and made the roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where the team reached the final and lost.
