Marie Beatrice Schol-Schwarz

Marie Beatrice "Bea" Schol-Schwarz was the Dutch phytopathologist who discovered the causal fungus of Dutch elm disease. She first studied pathogens afflicting peanuts and later the fungus Phialophora.
