Mahesh Babu is read about 1,907 times a day, in 39 languages.
A typical day, 30 days to 15 October 2026
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong? He's spent two decades atop Telugu cinema as "Superstar," a title that tracks both box-office pull and a Forbes India Celebrity 100 streak running since 2012.

Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu was born 9 August 1975, the younger son of veteran actor Krishna, and started appearing on screen at four in Needa (1979), then cycled through child roles - Sankharavam, Gudachari 117, a dual part in Koduku Diddina Kapuram - until 1999, when Rajakumarudu made him a lead and won him the Nandi for Best Male Debut. The breakthrough came with Murari in 2001 and Okkadu in 2003, the latter earning his first Filmfare, and from there the run went commercial: Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Businessman, Srimanthudu, Maharshi, Sarileru Neekevvaru, over thirty films in all, nine Nandi Awards, five Filmfare South, four SIIMA. He married actress Namrata Shirodkar, opened AMB multiplex chains in Hyderabad and Bengaluru starting 2018, runs G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and founded Mahesh Babu Foundation to fund congenital heart surgeries for children. The machinery hums: production house, exhibition business, goodwill ambassador for Rainbow Hospitals, and a career that prints both money and accolades in equal measure.
