Born Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Shkrebneva on 6 January 1958, she trained as a linguist before marrying Vladimir Putin. The marriage ended in 2013, and she reverted to her maiden name before later becoming Ocheretnaya. She remains one of the most private figures ever to hold the role.
