Ludwig Kaas was a German Catholic priest who led the Centre Party during Hitler's rise to power in the Weimar Republic. Alongside Eugenio Pacelli, his longtime friend, he was instrumental in brokering the Reichskonkordat between the Holy See and the German Reich.
