French racecar driver (1882-1960)
Louis Auguste Wagner was a French racing driver who, racing for various domestic and foreign brands, won the 1908 American Grand Prize and the inaugural 1926 British Grand Prix. He was runner-up in the German Mercedes team that scored a 1-2-3 victory at the July 1914 French Grand Prix just before the War broke out. Wagner was also a pioneer aviator.
