Louis Lallemant was a French Jesuit priest, spiritual director, theologian, and spiritual writer associated with the development of seventeenth-century French interior spirituality. Long active in the formation of novices and Jesuit tertians, he is often regarded as the author of the first major synthesis of Ignatian spirituality.
