About this person
Tyler Steinkamp was born March 7, 1995. He built a following playing League of Legends until April 2016, when the game's publisher indefinitely banned him for his conduct toward other players. The ban itself became the story. In 2018 he appealed and won reinstatement. His first stream back peaked at over 382,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, breaking the platform's non-tournament record at the time. By 2021 he was one of the most-watched streamers on the internet.
