Olivia Boeree was born 18 July 1984 in Britain and became a professional poker player who quietly rewrote what was possible at the tables. She won a WSOP bracelet, then an EPT event - the first and still only woman to claim both. She took the Global Poker Index European Female Player of the Year three times, and in one tournament walked away with $2,800,000, a record that still stands. She retired in late 2019 and ranks fourth all-time among women in career winnings. Now she hosts the Win-Win podcast and works as a science communicator and philanthropist, carrying the same disciplined edge into a different game.
