Lea Tormis

Lea Tormis was an Estonian theatre scholar, historian, critic and teacher. She is particularly associated with research on Estonian ballet and theatre history and with teaching theatre history at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EMTA), where she became professor in 1996 and professor emeritus in 2003.
