About this person
Kim Yoon-ji was born March 16, 1989, and took the screen name Jung So-min when she entered television in 2010 with a supporting part in Bad Guy. That same year she landed her first lead in Playful Kiss, a romantic comedy that set the template for much of what followed. She spent the next decade working steadily, then hit a new gear in 2017 with Because This Is My First Life, a series that widened her range. In 2022 she starred in Alchemy of Souls, and in 2023 she carried the film Love Reset. Love Next Door followed in 2024, and Would You Marry Me? arrived in 2025. The through line is consistency: she works, the shows land, and the audience keeps coming back.
