Juan Pablo Martínez-Zurita Arellano was born 29 March 1996 and broke through in 2013 posting comedy clips on Vine. As that app died, he pivoted to YouTube vlogs and grew the audience into the tens of millions across platforms. In 2016 the fashion industry came calling - Pull&Bear, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein - and by 2017 Forbes had him on the 30 Under 30 list for Hollywood. After the September 2017 earthquake in Mexico City, he ran a fundraising campaign that pulled 25 million pesos in donations to build houses for survivors. A year later he took his first notable acting role, playing Alex Basteri in the Luis Miguel series. He now has over 25 million followers on Instagram alone and recently launched a bottled water company in Mexico during a drought.
