John Joseph Keane was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Richmond in Virginia (1878-1887) and Archbishop of Dubuque in Iowa (1900-1911). He was also the first rector of the Catholic University of America, serving from 1887 to 1896.
