John Joseph Keane was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Richmond in Virginia (1878–1887) and Archbishop of Dubuque in Iowa (1900–1911). He was also the first rector of the Catholic University of America, serving from 1887 to 1896.
