James Joseph Collins was an American professional baseball player. He played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball. In 1945, Collins was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He played for the Boston Beaneaters, Louisville Colonels, Boston Americans, and Philadelphia Athletics. He also managed the Americans.
