Jabir Novruz was an Azerbaijani and Soviet poet, translator, editor, and secretary of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers for three decades. Considered one of the most prominent authors of modern Azerbaijani poetry, his work is known for a romantic style that inspired patriotism.
