Ivan Pavlovsky

Ivan Grigorievich Pavlovsky was a Soviet military leader, Commander-in-Chief Ground Forces - Deputy Minister of Defence of the Soviet Union from 1967—1980, and a General of the Army (1967). He became a Hero of the Soviet Union in 1969. He was a Member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU (1966—1971) and the Central Committee of the CPSU (1971—1981).
