About this person
Im Na-yeon was born September 22, 1995. She broke through in 2015 via Sixteen, the JYP Entertainment reality show that assembled Twice. Seven years into the group's run, she released Im Nayeon in June 2022. The EP hit number one in South Korea and number seven on the US Billboard 200 - no South Korean soloist had cracked that chart's top 10 before. The lead single "Pop!" reached number two at home and charted in the top ten across six countries. In 2024 her second EP, Na, repeated the pattern: another number one in South Korea, another top-ten entry in the US. The lane she opened, she's kept.
