Born 10 January 1973, Jiménez studied information sciences at Complutense and the European University of Madrid before finding his lane in the early 2000s. Alongside his wife Carmen Porter, he directed and presented Milenio 3 on Cadena SER, a radio program devoted to mysteries and fringe investigations that built a cult following. The pair jumped to television with Cuarto Milenio on Cuatro, cementing Jiménez as what several newspapers have called one of Spanish media's premier communicators - and one of its most parodied. Critics tag him with trash TV; industry groups have handed him three Antenas de Oro, a Premio Ondas, and a shelf of other honors. In 2020 he launched the YouTube podcast La Estirpe de los Libres and began presenting Horizonte, a divulgation program that started on Telecinco before moving to Cuatro.
