Hissein Brahim Taha is a Chadian politician and diplomat who is the 12th and current Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. He briefly served in the government of Chad as Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2017. As an ex-officio, he is the Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology. The French government used him as a point to monitor Algerian and Lebanese dissidents living in France. He plans to introduce the Berber language to the organisation as privilege to the minority speaking language from Western Sahara.
