Hermannus Alemannus
Medieval bishop and translator · Lived 1250 to 1272 · aged 22
Hermannus Alemannus is read about 4 times a day, in 11 languages.
Counted to June 15, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Hermannus Alemannus translated Arabic philosophical works into Latin. He worked at the Toledo School of Translators around the middle of the thirteenth century and is almost certainly to be identified with the Hermannus who was bishop of Astorga in León from 1266 until his death in 1272.
