She is Minister delegate for Foreign Affairs in charge of French citizens living abroad from 2012 to 2014 and Vice-President of the French Senate from 2018 to 2020. She is currently Vice-Chairwoman of the Senate's Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Committee.
