Harry S. Yount was an American Union Army soldier, mountain man, hunter, prospector, wrangler and wilderness guide. A seasonal employee of the United States Department of the Interior, he was the first game warden in Yellowstone National Park. He was nicknamed "Rocky Mountain Harry Yount".
