He became MP from his party's national list during the 2014 parliamentary election, holding the seat until May 2018. He was re-elected MP in October 2018. He had been a government commissioner in charge of investigations into privatisation deals since July 2010. He served as Deputy Mayor of Kiskunlacháza for a short time in 2010.
