Soviet aviator, test pilot (1916–1956)
Georgy Mikhailovich Parshin was an Il-2 pilot in the Soviet Air Forces during the Second World War who was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. He went on to become a test pilot after the war, but was killed in a plane crash ten years later.
