Polish priest
Franciszek Jop was the Polish Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Opole from its formation in 1972 to his death in 1976. He previously served as apostolic administrator of the Apostolic Administration of Opole from 1956 to 1972, apostolic administrator of the Archdiocese of Kraków from 1952 to 1956, and auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Sandomierz from 1945 to 1956.
