Francis Fergusson

Francis de Liesseline Fergusson was an American professor of comparative literature and literary critic; a theorist of drama and mythology. He was a Rhodes Scholar and a Guggenheim Fellow, best known for his book The Idea of a Theatre: The Art of Drama in Changing Perspective (1949).
