Filipina executed for murder (1953–1995)
Flor Ramos Contemplacion was a Filipina domestic worker who was executed in Singapore after being convicted of murdering a fellow Filipina maid and the four-year-old boy whom she was babysitting. At the time, her case as well as her eventual sentencing severely strained diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Singapore.
