Eric D. Walrond

Eric Derwent Walrond was an Afro-Caribbean writer and journalist. A member of the Harlem Renaissance, he was well-travelled, moving early in life to live in Barbados, then Panama, New York City, and eventually England. His work, which spanned both fiction and non-fiction, was often concerned with the Caribbean diaspora and the brutal, global consequences of racism, imperialism, and slavery.
