Elísio dos Santos Teixeira

Elísio dos Santos Teixeira, was a Brazilian professional footballer who played for São Paulo FC as an inside forward. Teixeirinha won the Campeonato Paulista six times playing alongside great players like Leonidas and Sastre. He scored 188 goals in 525 games, which ranks him as the fourth-highest scorer in the history of São Paulo Futebol Clube. He was called to represent the Brazil national team at the 1946 South American Championship, though he did not enter in any matches.
