Eldridge Reeves Johnson was an American businessman and inventor who founded the Victor Talking Machine Company in 1901 through a merger of his Consolidated Talking Machine Company and the Berliner Gramophone Company. He sold the company in 1926 for US$40 million and it became part of RCA Corporation.
