Eden Ben Zaken
Israeli singer · Israel · On the map · Musicians · Born 1994 · age 32
Israel's pop engine: she walked off X Factor Israel in second place and never stopped climbing. Three Woman of the Year titles, three Singer of the Year streaks, and a debut album that went gold inside a country where that actually means something.

About this person
Eden Ben Zaken was born 8 June 1994 and surfaced nationally on the first season of X Factor Israel, finishing runner-up. Her first album, "Malkat Hashoshanim" (Queen of the Roses), sold over 15,000 copies and earned gold certification - a threshold that mattered in a small market. Radio stations, TV channel 24, and the site Mako named her Singer of the Year in 2015, then again in 2016 and 2017. In 2017 she added another Singer of the Year title from public station Kan Gimel and Woman of the Year from Galgalatz, Israel's highest-rated station. The titles stacked year over year, three in a row for Woman of the Year alone, marking her as the dominant commercial voice in Israeli pop through the mid-2010s.
