Dušan Čaplovič was a Slovak politician, historian and archaeologist. In 2006-2010, he was the Deputy Prime Minister for Knowledge Society, European Affairs, Human Rights and Minorities. Čaplovič was also vice-chairman of Direction - Social Democracy.
