Douglas Lambert Burke is a former water polo player who competed for Stanford University and won a silver medal for the United States at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. After graduating Stanford in Economics, he completed a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1986, and worked as a business founder, executive, and consultant in the Baking Industry beginning in the mid-1980's.
