Dazhu Huihai, also rendered in the Wade-Giles romanization as Ta-chu Hui-hai, was a Chan Master in the Hongzhou School and disciple of Mazu Daoyi. The Dunwu rudao yaomen lun is attributed to him. His name, Dazhu, means "Great Pearl."
