David Michael Bautista Jr. was born January 18, 1969, started wrestling in 1999, and signed with WWE in 2000. From 2002 to 2010, as Batista, he rose through Evolution to win the WWE Championship twice and the World Heavyweight Championship four times, his first reign the longest the title ever saw. He won the Royal Rumble in 2005 and 2014, headlining WrestleMania 21 — one of the top five highest-grossing pay-per-views in wrestling history — and WrestleMania XXX.
