Born July 26, 1974, Negreanu turned professional poker into a decades-long campaign of consistency. He took WSOP Player of the Year honors in 2004, then again in 2013 - the only player to win it twice - and added the 2004-2005 WPT Player of the Year title between them. His eight WSOP bracelets span four decades, a feat matched by only three others, and he became the first player to final-table and then win bracelets at all three WSOP locations: Las Vegas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. By 2014 he had a Poker Hall of Fame induction and recognition as the decade's best. As of August 2025 his live tournament winnings sit at $56.9 million, seventh all-time.
