Christos Stylianides or Christos Stylianidis is a Greek Cypriot politician serving as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy of Greece since 2023. From September 2021 to May 2023 he served as Greece's first Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. On June 26 he was elected Member of the Hellenic Parliament with the governing New Democracy Party (ND). He has previously served as the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management (Cyprus) from 2014 until 2019. In 2014, he was also appointed by the European Council as the European Union's Ebola Coordinator. He was also elected as a Member of the European Parliament in the May 2014 European elections where he served until 31 October 2014.
